This bento box is full of Kyoto flavor, using A5-ranked Kameoka beef and Kinuhikari rice from Kyoto. In order to bring out the full flavor of the Kameoka beef, we paid particular attention to the seasoning of the meat and the temperature of the rice when plating it. It also comes with yudofu, made with soft tofu from Kyoto that has a great texture, and three types of obanzai (traditional side dishes) that change daily, so you can really feel the Kyoto flavor in the ingredients.
(A set without the side dishes is 2,500 yen (tax included) *Yudofu is included)

Atmosphere of the shop
Kinkaku is a restaurant with 400 seats on the 1st to 3rd floors. We have many tatami rooms and tables with a Kyoto-like atmosphere. We can accommodate a wide range of occasions, from lunchtime banquets after sightseeing at Kinkakuji Temple to large corporate banquets. Please relax and enjoy the view of the beautiful courtyard, where you can feel the changing of the seasons.
Kinkaku's proud courtyard is impressive with one of the tallest stone lanterns in Japan. During the autumn sightseeing season, the bright red leaves add color to the garden. It has an atmosphere that exudes a sense of wabi-sabi, and is popular with foreign visitors. For that reason, the seats overlooking the courtyard are especially popular. Another attraction of our restaurant is that you can enjoy the Kyoto-like scenery and cuisine together.
We have fully private rooms available for small groups of up to six people. On the second floor, there is a room with an impressive Japanese modern interior. This Japanese-style room can also be used for special occasions such as meetings and celebrations. Please enjoy your meal and conversation while taking in the Japanese atmosphere that is characteristic of Kyoto.
